We can arrange a number of things for you in advance for a carefree start of your holiday.
Lift passes
We can provide you with lift passes. On arrival we will find out together which passes will best meet the requirements of your group/family. We can print the most common passes (often at a reduced price) and you can get on the lift without having to queue at the booking office.
There are passes for the smaller area of Vaujany and the larger one of Domaine des Grandes Rousses / Alpe d’Huez.

Ski rental
We work together with Ride for Life/ SkiSet run by Samy and Gaya, a young couple with a ski rental company which offers excellent service. The shop is opposite the Vaujany gondola. For a small fee the Solneige guests can rent heated ski lockers, so you do not have to keep lugging around all your stuff.
Your shoes not comfy or do you want to exchange your skis for a snowboard halfway through? No problem, you can count on expert service and a friendly smile.

Skiing lessons
In Vaujany you will find the excellent Ecole de Ski Francaise (ESF) where you can book group lessons as well as private lessons.

We also work together with Barbara Maublanc, a private teacher who will offer you tailor made lessons. She can also take you on a wonderful introductory tour through the area or teach you the basics of off-piste skiing or snowboarding.

Kindergarten in Vaujany
For the little ones we recommend the Vaujany kindergarten. Children from the age of six months to five years will soon feel at home in this quality kindergarten where they can also play outside. The small ones can have a nap and there is a good lunch for everybody.
You have to book in advance, because things tend to get crowded. We will be happy to inform you of the possibilities and to make a reservation.

Ski-joëring
Are you in for something different? On the Col d'Ornon you can try ski-joëring: you stand on your skis while being towed by a horse! You need to have some skiing experience and you should not be afraid of horses. The Col d’Ornon is at a 30 minutes drive from Solneige.
